Birmingham City Council introducing a £10m fund to support the city’s small and medium sized businesses

10/06/2019

Birmingham City Council (BCC) is introducing a £10m Heavy Duty Fund (HDF) to help businesses operating in Birmingham’s Clean Air Zone (CAZ) make the transition to lower emission vehicles.

The fund will support businesses to:

  • Install an accredited retrofit technology that makes vehicles Euro VI equivalent and therefore CAZ compliant; or
  • Purchase or lease of Euro VI compliant vehicles

To help BCC and retrofit solution suppliers ensure the most cost-effective options are available, and that the right level of support is in place to meet demand, the Council is asking businesses to complete a short questionnaire by Friday, 28 June 2019. You can take part in the survey here.
